Feeding Guide 

For high-intensity activity, the timing of feeding sheep fat cubes is important because fat digests more slowly than carbohydrates or protein. The goal is to provide extra fuel without causing stomach upset or affecting performance.

The best approach is to give them about 2–3 hours before the activity. This allows digestion to start, fats to become available as fuel, and reduces the risk of stomach discomfort during exertion.

The typical amount for an energy boost depends on the dog’s size:

• 15–20 kg dog: ~½ cube

• 20–30 kg dog: ~1 cube

• 30+ kg dog: 1–2 cubes

For dogs that need building up dosage can be doubled but should be introduced slowly over a week
