My name is Danielle, but most call me Dani. I live in Sidmouth near Devon, a beautiful part of the country near the Jurassic coast , with my husband Roger and our current 5 dogs. My passion for dogs grew from a chance meeting with a stray border collie on a visit to Italy when I was 10 years old. I have welcomed many dogs, both rescue and puppies into my home and heart over the last 42 years and with my love for the active breeds I soon got into agility.

I have competed at Crufts and Olympia with various dogs, qualified for many finals and also run dogs at champ level. Whilst this has been my main focus for the last 15 years, having studied dog psychology, my passion remains mainly in understanding my dogs, enjoying their personalities, being enriched by their company and most of all being their safe place.

I walk miles with them, photograph them way too much and can not imagine life without a house full of canines. They are my world, hence they are fed the best raw food around, to keep them fit and well. My youngest is currently 4 year old cocker Chocolate, then 6 year old Doris, 8 year old River, 14 year old George and 16 year old Twiggy.

Vickie Pullin is the UK’s leading female sled dog racer and a multiple World Champion. She competes across sprint classes in 4-dog rigs, 6-dog rigs, 2- and 1-dog scooters, and 1-dog bike. Her accolades include 7x World Champion Gold, 1x European Champion Gold, and over 20x National Champion Gold titles.

Based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, Vickie is a former British Snowboard Cross Team member who discovered her love of sled dogs in Canada and Alaska. She now runs a team of over 40 dogs—Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskies, Eurohounds, and Greysters—and operates a successful husky ride business.

Vickie’s dedication and care for her dogs are evident in every race and training session. Beyond competing, she inspires others through training camps and scholarships for young mushers, helping grow the sport across the UK.
